| Recently refurbished town centre pub that does food. They have a glass floor in the bar so you can see down in the cellar. Might be OK as long as you don't suffer from vertigo! It's a very pleasant pub with an extensive range of Greene King beers and one guest ale on when I called in on a Wednesday lunchtime. It was quite busy, a combination of drinkers and diners. | A nice traditional, relaxed pub with an a pleasant beer garden. The food is reasonable if you stay at the pub end of the scale - the more ambitious dishes are invariably disappointing. JStuart - 18 Sep 2011 21:53 |
