Pub located on the main A523 road, I visited here one Saturday evening. It seems it mainly caters for diners but that didn't matter so much though Hobgoblin was the only real ale on draught. They have a great food menu for which this place is mainly renowned for. Adjacent is a large beer garden for those warmer days outside which all very family friendly too.

The meal I has was very nice and the guy who served behind the bar was very accommodating as well, I would recommend a visit here mainly for the fayre that's on offer.

Can't comment on the menu as the 3 times we have visited (all after long walks) we have been unable to eat. 1st time they were CLOSED on a bank holiday. The 2nd, even though we were seated and there was still plenty of seating remaining they were 'too busy'. The 3rd, they didn't want to serve us food in the garden!
Unfriendly, unpleasant, not a nice pub.

the queens arms, has an amazing atmophere, the food is prepared fresh and all home made, i had the home made steak and ale pie, and my partner had a steak, it was very well presented and good value for money, and most of all tasted good, service was excellent, i would recomend, very good also for walkers, as it is on route to most trails, thats how we came upon it, we also re visited a few more times to there karaoki evenings, which led to me booking a party there, i love the place will go back again, thanks to gwyn and colin

the pub is quaint, on entering the pub i thought the doorway was some what tired, i went to the Queens Arms about a month ago while i was in Macclesfield visiting family, the food was ok a little expensive as we only ate of the snack menu,(not value for money) my biggest problem was the lady who served us our lunch she was wearing a rather shabby fleece coat and came across very abrupt, and even passed coment that we had disturbed her cigarette break which she was having in the garden with the landlord, will not visit again
