I was in this pub last week. A good range of ales on offer. But what is it with this queuing system both ends of the bar? Nonsense!

Usual Wetherspoons fare. Good range of real ales. The downside is its due to be demolished as part of the Queen Street station re-development.

During the recent Commonwealth Games a visitor from Northern Ireland was in this pub and was asked to put away his country's flag as the staff deemed it to be sectarian. Since when has displaying your country's flag been sectarian. Shows a bigoted attitude by the staff. The actions of the staff have tarnished all the wonderful work and friendliness of people of Glasgow during the games. Avoid the place.

2nd visit here early evening on a Friday.

Decent old style 'spoons...usual fare on tap plus some decent cans from 21st Amendment Brewery in America.

Good friendly crowd and cheap drinks.

I will visit again the next time I'm in Glasgow.

Now the Camperdown Place, Wetherspoons.

This was the last pub of my 7 new pubs in Glasgow in 1 day. I came in around 10pm on a Saturday night, it was busy but not rowdy & we managed to get a table and a seat.

Old style spoons right by Queen Street train station and under street level.

A good selection of ales, and I had 2 of the overseas beer festivals offerings. Both were very good

Good feel about this place, it's great to have one of older style 'spoons doing so well within a stones throw of the Counting House and other fancier bars / pubs.
