| Very relaxing and tranquil, with low lighting and in offensive music. The food is especially good, the chefs specials are excellent, it's good to get freshly cooked food for a change with an individual twist. The sticky figgy pudding is a must for dessert. | Large 17th Century tavern with original windows, oak beams and black and white exterior. Great food and service. Good selection wines and pulled beer, plus the usual lagers/bottles. No TV. No pool tables. No jukebox. Heaven. Food quality ranges from good to excellent, with Chef specialities my favourite. Piped music adds homely atmosphere but is not obtrusive.
