Brilliant pub grub! Varied menu with something for everyone, from the fussy eater and vegetarian right down to someone with allergies to wheat and gluten. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They are more than willing to adapt a dish to suit. The food is fantastic and not too pricey either. Brilliant for kids as there is a play area.

we went to the Longfrie and the food was terrible we had starters to begin pate and prawn cocktail not bad.
we finished the starters then mains came out shortly, my wife had beef curry which it was ok i had roast beef well i wouldnt feed my dogs, it looked horrible, the beef was very tough it was like leather, the yorkshire pudding was BURNED the vegetables were cabbage, carrots and peas the veg were over cooked they were mushed. (none of the staff came to our table and say is the meals ok for you) my wife had to go on the bar and said to this bloke with glasses it seemed the duty manager well not very presentable said to my wife what do you want me to do he had no idea to deal with a complaint he was to busy eating bag of peanuts behind the bar and drinking glass of peppsi. he came to our table and said can i chainge my food he said ok i had homemade lasagne well it was big suprised lots and lots of cheese no flavour very dry the garlic bread was toasted on one side vey soggy, had to say something so this lady came to me and said to her what was wrong with it she took the beef and lasagne of the bill. the pub wasnt very busy but at the end of the day nobody seemed in charged and staff had no clue what they were doing. the place was very dirty our table was very sticky the carpet had better days, when i was ordering my food a chef came out with chef trousers and t-shirt eating chips behind the bar very unhygieneic the kitchen had better days the canopy was full of grease not very nice.

Famous for the witch on the roof. More restaurant than pub. Good value. Nice location. Plenty parking. Kids welcome. Some tables outside.
