Large fines levied for mouse infestation offences here - but the pub eventually reopened.

With just time to try one more pub in Walthamstow, this pub opposite Central station was just the ticket. The ale range surprised me - Gales Seafarers, East London Pale Ale, Cowcatcher & Quadrant Oatmeal Stout, Leigh On Sea Six Little Ships, Redemption Pale & Greene King Harry Ever After. It was far better than I had expected. Spanish football was on the TV. But the big drawback with this place was the prices. It was by far the most expensive pub we visited in Walthamstow. This seemed odd as I'm sure I remember Goose pubs as being good value. But this one is obviously exploiting its location. I wouldn't rule out another visit though.

Very good pub, massive selection of ales. Friendly bar staff, excellent atmosphere & very good service. Sadly we had to miss ale sampling at the weekend.
Will ne back.

Inexplicably low rating for this place. Must be a hangover from a previous incarnation. From the outside it looks a bit mediocre but the interior is suprisingly OK - a good place to watch the football. Not brimming with character, but as far as football/station pubs go this is not bad at all.

Popped in here on Wednesday night to meet a mate before heading else where.

Doom Bar on tap was well kept and a decent price.

Didn’t stay too long, just a pints worth but the pub seems fine…looks like a good pub to watch football in as there’s plenty of screens.

Don’t dismiss this pub but the outside pop in and have a pint or 2, I will stay longer next time.
