Andy. Maybe you didn't know - but this is a pub/beer site.
The PO is a friendly and excellent boozer with well kept beer and good food. Staff are polite and friendly.
(In any event your concerns, Andy - after next Wednesday - will be historical).

I havent been to this pub, nor do I intend to either. This morning, Saturday 19th June, headline in the SUN " This flag is racist". These scots halfwits who frequent this dive have seen it fit to show english flags to all and sundry with the lettering ABE, which evidently stands for 'anyone but england'. Noew Im an englishman and have lived in scotland for the last 6 years, and it pisses me BIGTIME to see these idiotic halfwits that fester up here that think its cool to diss england. For F**KS sake we all live on the same bleeding island you morons, get behind a UK team at the world cup. Its not big, and its not clever. Gawd the idiotic scots who support this gormless campaign must have the brain the size of a pea. Never in my life have I experienced such crass stupidity of the scotch. Not all, but many of 'em. I hope the council revoke this pubs licence, and immediately. Gawd knows what sort of idiot the landlord must be.

The PO is a great pub, especially if there is a Scotland game on!! Food is fantastic and the staff are always friendly.

If found the Post Office Bar a great place to go for a night out. The music was superb, people dancing, no trouble, heaters and shelter outside for people smoking. Back to the music, the tunes were great, some I heard for the first time and it wasnt untill a couple of months later I heard a new tune on the radio but thought I`d heard it b4, took me a while but I remembered hearing it in the post office :) Totally recommend it, superb 9/10

No soul in the evening. Go elsewhere if you are over 20 or stay indoors pulling your eyelashes out. It'll be more fun.
