| Looks as if it may have been refurbished in the last few years as it is all very modern and smart without being gaudy. I don't think they are still doing the previously mentioned chinese buffet - we had a 3 course Sunday lunch today for £16.95 which was good. 3 handpulls were Otter Bitter, Otter Amber and Tribute for either £3.15 or £3.20. I stuck to the Otters which were both decent pints. Service was very friendly. | This pub has changed a lot since 2004. It has had a complete refurbishment, the service & food has improved and they have a good choice of beers; Tim Taylors Landlord, Hookey and Blacksheep on draught plus all the regular stuff. Food in the restaurant is good now if a tad pricey; bar snacks are OK. Has a pleasant garden for warm evenings. Very friendly behind the bar; they make you welcome. peejay - 5 Dec 2006 09:01 |
