| the word is, it's going to be boarded up next week, and that will be the end of the Pine Cliff Pub for all those genuine Southbourn people will remember it with the very best memories of a real community pub, it's just a great pity it cannot be put back to how it was. | Not great, inexpensive, bar staff unbelievably rude, seemed to really resent serving me on a quiet Wednesday night. Surely the whole point of bar staff is to pour you half decent drinks and at least pretend to smile – otherwise you may as well drink at home. Toilets stank, I mean they smelt bad. | I live right by this pub, used to be good, but now the food is lethal (or non existant) the atmosphere is dark and threatening,the landlady is the rudest on the planet and the place is full of chavs. Highly recommended if you want a fight, food poisoning or abuse. Zedferret - 16 Jun 2008 17:25 |
