| No real ale on tap but bottles of Sulwarth available. Service OK although not may were in the pub. Loutish behaviour seemed to be tolerated in the beer garden which we did not apprciate. We were going to eat here but we left quickly. The bar area was weirdly laid out. We had to step over tables to get to the back bar and the beer garden. | My review above was actually for the Steam Packet, not the Gordon House. Seems the Steam Packet entry no longer exists and my review's been switched to the GH. GH has good front bar with food. Back bar has big tellies and younger atmos (loud music etc.). Withnail118 - 1 Nov 2006 14:54 |
| Friendly local pub with the best jukebox in town, excellent food and they let kids in. Also they have a pool table and lots of live entertainment. I give it 9 out of 10 a fun place to be both day or night. Quizzer - 25 Oct 2006 08:59 |
