We visited this pub early last year and we where not that impressed but when we revisited last week what a difference a great food offer very reasonably priced and good portion size. The resturant area is newly painted and has a fresh clean look and the service was second to none. I would recomend any one in the area to pay this wonderfull old country pub a visit. We certainly will

Had not been to this pub for a few years. We have had some delicious meals here and missed out on occasions when it was fully booked. No chance of that now - we were the only people eating at 1pm on a Sunday, there was NO ROAST and only 2 people in the bar. All 5 of us ate something that could have been rustled up from the freezer at home and quite frankly I would have rather been at home, it was that bad. No soap in the toilets, threadbare carpet. What a disgrace..........
