| When this place was first open, you did get the idea of what they were trying to achieve, but also that it was done on a bit if a budget. It has been updated a fair bit now, with an upstairs bar and dancefloor being added for those inclined to dance. It's not as cool as it could be, but personally I like it. It's contemporary and the space has been fairly well utilised, however the toilets ate still lacking in presentation, and the beer garden could do with a bit nore work. It has a good selection of beers/spirits etc, but stay clear of the Absinthe/Jaegermeister/Goldschlager, unless you want to fly without wings and then crash and burn.(Me, me, me!) It's always busy on the weekend, but since the addition of the upstairs "disco" their has been an increase in the attendance of the "peasant underclass", which is not helped by the weedy and unimposing doormen. anonymous - 15 Aug 2007 17:09 |
