user reviews of the Robin Hood and Little John, Brentwood

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I had visited this pub Last year, and have continued to enjoy it,it had been my 4th visit as I do not live in the area,All of my visits have been enjoyable ones and this pub has become one of my favourites,This seems to be a pub to enjoy in the summer months when the weather is warmer and the evenings are lighter
due to it's excellent outside facilities.

Inside doesen'nt dissapoint either,it is staffed by some lovely friendly Bar Staff, the fellow customers I've met there seem to be very friendly too-other inside facilities include Open fire,a Pool Table in it's own area,a seperate Darts area up the opposite end of the Pub,I had previously mentioned about the Digital Jukebox on one of my previous comments-However on last year's visit found one of" Sound Leisure's" flagship Digital Jukeboxes installed, this new jukebox allows one to select any top 40 song going back to 1952,"plus much more"-as quoted on the screen !!!.

It looks like I'm planning a return visit to this, one of my all time favourite pubs soon, maybe there will me more suprises in store for me when I get there !.

Avoid it as it's the place you're most likely to bump into the Costed Manor estates most notorious family of volatile and violent scumbags (when they're not banged-up).

Nice looking pub from the outside - shame about the inside.

Nice little local just down the road from the Castle, run by nice staff and regulars, the pub benefits from a nice outside drinking area complete with Seafood stall, out the back there is also a lovely beer garden ,well kept, complete with litter bins to keep the whole place tidy, inside there is seperate pool and darts areas, and a newly installed Digital jukebox for all the latest up-to-date music, sadly however, they do not do food.

All-in-all a nice pub to go in summer to bring your kids(Children are welcome),come and have a great time in this lovely pub.
