Lovely drinkers pub, quite small, the food looked good, choice of 3 real ales.

A pleasant pub with a mix of local drinkers and diners enjoying the excellent food. However, the three hand pumps are rarely all employed and occasionally none are! It is a shame they cannot consistently have a decent selection of beers particularly those from local breweries.

No too sure which pub the reviewer below went into? The pub has been refurbished and now looks cleaner, brighter and more spacious. The product on offer is exactly the same as before; Good beer, great food and excellent service. The furniture is exactly the same as was in the pub before and there is no white furniture. The pub still offers open mic on a Wednesday, quiz on a Thursday and various live music events every month. Sometimes a change is good. Not sure? Then pop in for yourself.

Disaster!

I went in today and saw the "refurb" - basically yet another boring grey themed chain pub now. The atmosphere has been ripped out and it looks like the interior of a McDonalds. A couple of stunned locals sitting there not knowing what to think - is it a pub, an expensive restaraunt of a Doctors surgery??

I mean white furtniture in a pub - what a joke!

Can't see Live Music happening anymore the interior just doesn't suit anymore

No doubt the menu ( when / if) it is back on will be £30 burgers.

A real shame.

Keep going to Wonersh, the Grantly still does the traditional pub thing
