Had a great time yesterday listening to live music. Excellent band from Portsmouth. Enjoyed every minute!

Pub has re-opened following a few months closure, and is under new management. A historic pub first mentined in 1631, with a cosy fire and comfy seating. Timothy Taylor Landlord real ale available in good condition.

I''ve only ever been in this pub a couple of times-not too keen on the clientele .
However,it has been closed for months-no doubt due to the greed of its pubco owners in trying to screw an excessice rent from the licencee.
As one of the most historic buildings in Chertsey it will be a shame if it doesn't re-open as a pub

Very much a traditional old-style coaching inn that was once upon a time on the main Guildford/Woking to Windsor/Staines route. It looks like a character pub inside and out, it's conveniently located between the train station and town centre, and the staff are welcoming. I was surprised how quiet it was on a Friday night, but enjoyed my pint of Courage Best.
