| We managed to grab the last 2 stools at the bar on Sunday lunchtime with every table taken by diners. 5 handpulls (Fuller's ESB, London Pride - NBSS score of 3, Gales HSB, Gales Seafarers and Dark Star Hophead). | Went there with some friends/family on Boxing Day for lunch. Food was very, very good and reasonably priced so wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. There were four proper beers on offer (memorably ESB & L.Pride) but I wasn't drinking coz it was too early for me, that and the fact that it's one of those old boozers with beams you keep bumping your head on! The pub's in a picturesque setting. Behind it there's a duck pond and some twittens (that's 'alleys' to you Londoners) if you fancy a walk before/after eating. de101 - 29 Dec 2009 13:22 |
