The Swan Inn is a nice traditional 2 bar pub. Very different to the other offerings in Rhyl and I can certainly understand why this has made the Good Beer Guide.

4 beers on hand pull of which all were offerings from Thwaites. Lancaster Bomber, Nutty Black (reduced to £2.20 a pint), Original and Book 'em Danno, which was my choice. The usual lager offerings & Guinness also Warsteiner which was a bit of a surprise.

Nice friendly pub, 2 different drinking areas and a large seating area to the rear.

Altogether a very pleasant pub and worthy of it's place in the GBG.

The best pub in Rhyl. A couple of real ales, decent staff and friendly locals.
A word of warning. Best left alone whenever Liverpool or Manchester United are on television. The place during the holiday season is full of non-Scousers pretending to be Liverpool supporters or non-Mancs pretending to be Manchester United supporters. A mile up the road Rhyl FC are playing to 200 real football supporters while the local armchair fans walk around advertising AIG or Carlsberg.
Any other time, enjoy the well kept beer, reasonable selection of spirits and the feel of a good old fashioned pub.
