| Only been operating in its current incarnation for about 12 weeks. Plays 60s/70s/80s music. Furnishings are plush and it all looks very nice and staff are attentive and friendly but will it work? Haven't seen much of a crowd in there thus far and if you can't pull a crowd in at this time of year then you've got problems. Location is probably one of the problems here as it isn't right out on the Beach Road but is on the track leading to the Malibu Beach Hotel. The other problem is that there are already so many well established bars. Hope that this place makes it but not sure that it will. Bit of boring history for you as it used to be an Irish bar and going back further still it was a bog standard girly bar. John - 9 Aug 2004 08:02 |
