Everard's pub set back from the main road through the village on a junction. The interior has a number of tiny rooms and I think there was a garden at the rear. Ales were Tiger, Sunchaser & Sly Fox. The cider was Weston's Rosie's Pig. A nice village pub serving the local community well.

An attractive village pub, plenty of room inside and the food looked good. Everards Tiger, Brunswick Rocket and White Feather on the front bar. There's a new 'micro pub' bar called 'Djangos' to the rear with a glass fronted cellar (beer served by electric pumps?). London Pride, TT's Landlord and Courage Directors. The Pride was the best I've had in years, full of condition and flavour - just like I remember it tasting when I first drank it in the 80s - obviously well kept, perhaps the dispense method helped.

A lovely village pub that still manages to retain its charm. Very fairly priced food, but (being a veggie) had to make do with one choice from the menu. Great portions but the source was bland. I had it on good authority that the meat dishes were nothing to shout about either.
While I was there one fellow diner had 3 steaks sent back to the kitchen.
A few local beers are on tap and after working though them the favourite was Sunchaser from Everards.
Most of the staff were friendly bar one whom we thought had forgotten our presence after being seated towards the back of the pub.

The Sun has always been one of my favourites in this area. Well maintained, with a relaxed comfortable atmosphere, good food and well kept ales. Everards beers are not my out and out favourite, they are however more than acceptable.
What is not acceptable,is Adnams bitter and London Pride (my favourite)the two guests, served via a tight sparkler. Why do people do this?it destroys the conditioning and kills the flavour! Will they never learn?
