Classic traditional pub decor and furnishings. Love the feel of the place. You could set a film in here set anytime in the last 60 years and I mean this in a good way. Beer selection however is fizzy lager. Probably only responding to local demand, but it would be vastly improved with an ale or two on offer. Furthermore I think they should do away with the daytime TV. As memory serves me they have a good darts set-up. Worth stopping by if you are in the area.

A gem of a pub with easily the best Guiness in North London. The archetypal boozer from which all others should learn from; very friendly staff, well maintained beer, clean, cosy environment and good for channel 4 racing and football. The toilets do look like something out of an old fashioned asylum however.

Wandered in this very old school local's pub a while back and thought it was OK. No real ale, so I had a softie. I don't ordinarily like Guinness but seeing the below reviews wish I'd had a pint here. This is an old-school Irish local which probably looks much as it did in the 1960s - those who like that kind of thing will like it, those who don't won't.

Great Guinness, nice landlord & landlady and friendly locals who'll chat with anyone. The landlady even puts out some sarnies & pork pies for free, a nice place to watch football whoever you support, plenty of good-humoured banter.

A decent ordinary pub on Holloway Road, you can be English,Irish or Martian and enjoy this place. I wish more pubs were like this place.
