THE CHERRIES ITS BETTER KNOWN RE OPENING SATURDAY 16TH DECEMBER 2006 AFTER BAD FIRE IN THE SUMMER, COMPLETELY REFURBED A LOT OF HARD WORK HAS GONE IN TO IT,AFTER NEW YEAR WILL BE DOING TRADITIONAL PUB LUNCHES,YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW NICE THIS PUB LOOKS INSIDE NEW LEATHER SOFAS EVERYWHERE PLASMA TVS EVERYWHERE NEW WOOD FLOORING THROUGHOUT NEW EVERYTHING WELL WORTH CHECKING IT OUT! FORGET WHAT YOU HAVE HEARD ABOUT THIS PUB ITS NEW ITS MODERN ITS A MUST IF YOU REMEMBER THE OLD CHERRIES YOU WILL BE GOBSMACKED AT THE CHANGE ITS GONE THROUGH.

ok here we go, entertainment is good, but the pub ok, u have just done all the decking out side and the childrens play area, but what about in side, if you put anything down on the table it sticks to it, the sofas are all warn away, flys everywere, as soon as u walk in to the loo's there are flys buzzing about
and the loos are discusting.all i can see is that thay have done the bar and out side an thats it... dont realy like to go there any more.

Devoid of all atmosphere. Beer is only so-so.

Situated in the middle of a housing estate (private). This is most certainly a local pub for local people.

Unless you live in Parkwood - I used to. Then it's unliley you will be having a drink here!
