| A Halfway House is awonderful family pub, recently refurbished and well managed it has a friendly atmosphere. We visited it on a bank holiday Monday the food was excellent, well cooked with great service, fairly priced, good portion size and all the staff were extremely friendly. The children enjoyed the choice from the childrens menu. The 3 children particually enjoyed the outdoor play area and it was reassuring to know the children were safe in an enclosed play area.
