A beautiful location at the foot of a pretty Devonshire high street and above a beach... Seems odd to come to Devon and get cider all the way from Suffolk but that's Greene... ...friendly, decent pub. Obviously catering for the tourist, foodie market but not a... more details... Name: The Barrel of Beer Address: Fore St, Beer, Seaton, Devon, EX12 3EQ Visited midweek on a quiet out of season afternoon so the place was almost empty most... Looks as if its back to being a pub. Menu now seems to be heavy on burgers. Didn''t... Has turned into a... must have been lucky compared to others. 5 of us (incl. kids) went there on the hunt... visited on 24th,the food was awfull,not a pleasant...	Rating: 5.2/10
more details... Name: Dolphin Hotel Address: Fore Street, Beer, Seaton, Devon, EX12 3EQ As a hotel it was OK, the food OK and a decent breakfast. Dartmoor beer was on the way... I'm very disappointed that the front bar has been turned into a restaurant. The owners... Called in Wednesday and was served several delicious cool but not too cold perfectly... The Long bar at the side was a good drinking hole. It's in the GBG but the beer range... stayed sat 23th,excellent pub,great room 3 ,very nice...	Rating: 6.3/10
