Went here last week, no longer a wetherspoons so we thought we would give it a go!
The place is just the same but with a different name, the food looked disgusting, the place looked dirty and it stinks, i saw a cook come out of the kitchen in filthy stained clothes and apron, it turned us off, wont be going again

No longer a Wetherspoons - sold to Hawthorns Leisure in May 2016.

After a month - it remains the same. Same tired decor, punters.

On a positive note, they still have a wide selection of real ales (8ish) and my Salopian Gold at £2.20 was both superb and a steal at the price.

Essentially predictable Wetherspoon outlet, other than perhaps the location itself - I didn't expect to find one in Stourport but then again that's how far the reach of T Martin goes these days.
I recall the beer selection was reasonable, mostly local options on our visit. I forget which I sampled; I don't think it was my cup of tea but then again it was conditioned well enough.
2 of our party ate and were more than satisfied with their fare, although I am bound to say their palates may be a little more roughly-hewn than some others in the entourage! Still, one gets what one pays for and rarely can a 'Spoon pub be said to offer the worst value for what it is.
The decor was fairly standard JDW design, which I must say fitted the building (which looked 1930s?) quite suitably. There are views from a terrace with seating across towards the Basin, but alas a car park intervenes and so won't deliver quite the promise it might first appear to hold. The toilets were modelled on the award-winning design seen frequently in other outlets and were immaculate - just the place to dispose of what you have just taken on board!

Surely as its a Wetherspoons everyone knows what to expect? Decent selection of beers and well kept. The slow service is usually due to punters ordering food and not being able to decide on salad or peas!!!! Either that or having a coffee , which takes ages to pour and put sprinkles on!
Much better than the Kidderminster Witherspoons (thats not hard though) , and full of brummie caravaners in the summer.

This is a JDW's pub but not the best. The beer is fine the food is ok and cheap. During the caravan season the quality of the customers improves. Very understaffed so expect to queue and the tables are not cleared fast enough. Out back a lovely sun terrace is now spoiled by excessive noise from what was a quaint fun fair, and you now have to buy a parking ticket. A favourite gone to the dogs. ( Try THE BEAMS across the bridge because that where I have gone.)

Walked along the riverside to have a meal in this popular pub, and were not disappointed by the meal or the beer we had. It can be busy and tables take a long time to get cleared, but we enjoy coming here when in Stourport.

Tends to be very busy at weekends and during the summer when tourists visit Stourport; out-of-season weekday evenings are the best times to visit when there is a choice of several real ales and food is served promptly.

This pub serves plastic microwaved food and is full of teenage drinkers. It has no atmosphere or character whatsoever. The only thing going for it is that it's cheap due to being Wetherspoons.
