A Crown Carveries pub, offering their usual (excellent value) carvery meals plus cask ales at very reasonable prices. The Marstons EPA I tried was well kept and very good value at 1.95.

Amazing carvery! Service was a little slow at first but then someone else took over the carvery and it sped up. Extremely good food though, especially for the price! Best value ever.

Has now re-opened. It's a really nice place to have a drink. Very friendly staff and very clean. The carvery is amazing value and very popular. "The Cat" is a great place to have on your doorstep again.

Pub is currently closed (august 2005) to be turned nabk to a restaurant type pub. The sports bar theme obviously did not work.

Not a bad pub at all, know as the cat if your local. Open late and has some good qaulity beer on. Got to watch out for some of the Hulton massive who get down there now and again :o)
