if you aint a regular, give this one a miss.

you walk in the door and feel like its one of those westerns when everyone stops talking and turns to look at you.

staff friendly enough and beer ok but dont do food and apparently dont do randomers that well either!

better places to drink in Hendon if you are passing throguh the area

Parochial Irish shop conversion bar. As one would expect no ale, emphasis on sports (even if it's the shove ha'penny championships from Buggleskelly) and your archetypal hard drinking crowd (those who drink more for effect than enjoyment). The lager wasn't as cold as it should be either. There are very few options for a pint in the vicinity of Hendon Central tube though and this is about your best option.

A locals pub and they only like there own company, but the Irish barman was friendly enough only if you're drinking if not he'll have no trouble asking you to buy a drink or leave the premises, the drink selection was normal for these style pub and some nice offers on doubles but what stand out most is the quality of the beers, been in three times in two weeks Guinness 10/10 and Carlsberg never had it as nice before, shame i have to leave soon. Worth a visit not for the faint hearted.

A real regulars pub but have never seen any sort of trouble in here. . they pour the best guiness in hendon but that isnt hard seeing the clowns that work in the hendon

Unfortunately I missed all of the Irish cheer mentioned in previous posts and found myself in a sterile pub surrounded by objectionable old farts and being begrudgingly served by a disinterested barmaid.

The usual selection of draught that you find in an Irish bar was being served up and I spotted a dartboard at the back of the pub and I heard a pool table around the corner.

There are three plasma screens for the sport, but I think that I would rather watch it in the Gallery across the way.

has this place been open 10 years? standard irish theme pub, so you know what you are getting, handy for the station and not bad for a pint after brent cross shopping

I went here for St Patricks day with the missus. By the end of the evening I had run out of cash and I was about to leave when some guy came over to our table and gave us a free bottle of Magners saying Happy St Patricks day!. Which, all in all, is probably the best thing thats happened to me in London. On that basis alone Id have to say that this is a great pub.

lovely well run pub, i think common sense tells you what kind of pub it is when their are only men frequenting, think about it, its true they are???????

Absolutely blinding pub. As a beer connoisseur I pride myself on going to places to challenge my taste buds ( for the better) This place puts beer first and profits second. I've yet to find a better small traditional pub that offers free-BBQ in the summer every sunday, that has the pure unadulterated perfection of a pint from an array of selection on tap. Shame the kitchen closed...so I'm starting the campaign here!

This is a good pub with a great atmosphere. In the summer they have a bbq every sunday with as much food as you can eat and the pubs football team is great

Clients are mostly blokes so not the sort of spot to swing by for girls. That said, decent beer, decent service, decent food.

My visit to this pub was an experience of a life time. The staff were extremely friendly and although the Owner looked and was a tyrant. The staff definately make the pub
