Since the pub as opened in March 2012 ,they offer great food beer and cask ales at fantastic prices.Also they provide entertainment on Thursday ,Friday and Saturday nights.Well worth another visit as the clientèle as changed

Pub still 'tinned up'. Could be a cracking cask beer outlet with the right management. Prime location...

Pub is to close down Dec 6th for unknown reasons. Shame as it was a cheap pub with good meals

Hello everyone!! i'm gld to say that the george has had a refurb. its a lot more modern and the horrible books are gone. I am the new dj there, it is starting to pick up now. I play a mix from old school dance right up to modern funky house and some RnB. I also do request so anyone with a different taste just ask. :) Seriously though, just come in its had Thousands spent on the refurb. just come and have a look.

It used to be good 10 years ago, then went steadily downhill over the intervening years, to the point it felt like a location for "Shameless". Lord knows what's gone on now, coz it's all boarded up!
