Been here twice now on cycle trips through East Malling. Both times I found this place incredibly welcoming. Barstaff were helkpful and cheerful and the prices are pleasing on the wallet. I had very good (and different) ale on both occassions and the other half was even impressed with the house red wine which comes in small bottles. All in all very impressed and was actually disappointed we had to leave to continue our cycle journey.

Popped in here the other day. The staff and locals were all friendly and I was impressed with the beers. Goachers, Theakstons and British Summer from Brains which was the one I had a couple of. It tasted fine!
Good village local!

I have used this excellent family run pub for many years. Its a true community pub that host's darts, football and cricket teams.

The prices are the best in the area and the lunchtime food Mon-Fri offers fantastic value.

seems to appeal to local building trade clientele with scant respect for decent beer or social etiquette.
ok if you like watching football on the big screen while being barged into and spat all over by swarthy labourer types
better bet - go to west malling - just NOT the bulls head!
