Private21, 10 minutes is a very long wait when there is noone in the bar except for the girls that the barmen are showing off to. It's the only pub in Chelmsford that I've posted any negative comments about and they are well deserved !

Hey Private21, You should be on a commission from whichever crap PLC owns this dire theme bar this week. You wouldn't happen to be a member of staff would you? Whats with all the "!!!"'s?

This place is fantastic, what a great change from when it was toad. Hardly see any trouble anymore!!! Bar staff are great and so friendly, door staff are a credit to there agency!!! They are the first ones that actually seem professional and discreet with trouble!!! And the cocktail flaring well it adds a touch to the bar and the wait at the bar, ten minutes really isnt a long time in comparison to chicagos and they are serving hundreds of people!!! Have some patience!!! Great place!!!

A bright, cosy place, nice funiture, very popular with local public, good security guards, all ages are often seen inside, great food! two floors ground and upper both not perticurly big.
|
Don't go there ! No one in, two people 'working' behind the bar, left without a drink after waiting 10 minutes while they threw bottles around and made cocktails.

According to the Essex Chronicle...... A 23-year-old man was left with facial scarring after a vicious unprovoked attack in Que Pasa.
The South Woodham Ferrers man was glassed on the dance floor of the town centre bar around 12.30am last Thursday, May 1.
He was taken to Broomfield Hospital where he needed 13 stitches to his forehead, which the police said could lead to permanent scarring.

I always go there on a night out, usually a Thurs/Fri/Sat and always have a good night. Drinks averagely priced I think, although the wait at the bar is always a bit much. Too much bottle-throwing instead of actually serving! Other than that, me and my friends enjoy it there, music is a good mix of old-school dance/RnB and current hits.
Never eaten there during the day though, so I can't comment.

Went to Que Pasa on a friend's recommendation that it was the best club in town. WRONG -it cost 2 to get in, took 20 minutes to get served (the first time!), small, cramped, music too loud for the size of the room, no atmosphere, no room to lift a bottle to your mouth let alone dance!! I have since relocated to Newcastle and this place is a joke compared to ANY club up here!

been in there since last posting , very strange decor but nice and alot brighter since was the toad , the manager/supervisors blinding had a right chat with him , one of the barman is dating a blonde bit would say around 17 and damn fine and shes a chatty person but he gets the right arse you talking to her even though she starts talkin to u first , the food menu looks brilliant didnt try it as didnt wana take up valuable beer space , the beer was good and a fair range of draught and a blinding selections of bottles , and according to my mate damo "the traps are ok" so i assume the toilets are clean
