Independent recently taken over and very pleasant, owners changing the old poor reputation. Good luck, as it has real potential. Comfortable modern. 4 hand pumps only 2 on but it is Monday evening. Theakstons OP in good condition, and Deuchars IPA. Adnams Southwold due on soon.

The Brewers comes over as a pub that does not try hard to attract anyone outside of its own little circle. The L shaped interior has been refurbished leaving little character and is rather bland and uninspiring. Of the 4 pumps, 3 were redundant with just Adnams available, albeit quality was very good. The rear is taken up by a pool table and the Big Screen was showing footie to the half dozen patrons. I would ordinarily have sat and watched but the picture was of such poor quality and the screen badly positioned so we sat out of view in the pew seats at the front window and watched the world go by for 1 pint before moving on. A functional but hardly essential part of the towns pub circuit.

well what can i say i heard the pub was under new ownership and i was pleasently surprised when i went in there on friday, i dont normally go out in diss at the weekends but this time i did as it was bank holiday weekend and im so glad i did, they had a dj on and he played such a variety of music from hanson to rihanna the pub was all singing along and really enjoying the music. He wasnt affraid to play anything im sure i even heard chesney hawks whilst outside having a ciggie it was good to hear such a variety of music from all different eras, lets hope the new owners keep this dj as im sure once the word gets around of what the pub has to offer then its going to be the busiest in town! please pass on my praise to your dj and bar staff i had a fantastic nite with my mates and i left the pub with a smile on my face and i had drunk danced and smoked too much,

once again thank you and good luck for the future
