Dissapointed ..Menu quite different from other pubs (good) pub friendly good atmosphere ,nice and clean(good)FOOD ..! chose beef wrapped in yorkshire pudding with roast potatoes and peas ,and gravy boat.Promised meal in 10 mins BAD must have waited at least 20 mins ,not a real problem tho ,nice and warm in there.Meal arrived luke warm ! Roast potatoes where NOT roast potatoes! they where bombay roast potatoes, unfortunately 2 of them where not cooked through..so not a brilliant experience although I would try it again for a meal ,and would probably if the need arose complain to the chef at the time .

Marstons house nowadays. Decent enough selection of ales with a mixed clientele. Better than when I last went in a couple of years ago.

Wow, this pub is a far cry from the unwelcoming, locals only boozer of the 90s. Today it's a smart, comfortable pub/bar packed full of hotties on the weekend. It really was a smashing sight. As previously mentioned there is a minor chav element but all round it's not a bad place for a lively pint and bit o lady gazing. To avoid accusations of sexism I'd also add that the fellas weren't bad either.

Worth noting that the Unicorn is more of a late bar than a traditional pub these days but it wasn't cold like those sorts of places can often be.

A bit hit and miss! Nice cheap beer and a mixture of clientele. A few chavvies unfortunately do go in and make the place look worse than it is which is a shame!

We went to the Unicorn for a meal yesterday and the food was fantastic and very good value for money. Two of us went and we had fish marinara and a BBQ chicken burger with bacon and cheese. The service was really efficient and we weren't waiting long for our food. It has also been recently refurbished and is no longer a "rough" pub in any way whatsoever. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal on a relatively tight budget in Loughborough.

I used to work here! Cheap drinks attract a less than savoury crowd and although its not a rough pub, trouble never seems to be far away. It gets absolutely packed on a friday night and occasionally on a Thursday but other than that it's usually dead. Has two massive screens which are good for watching sport. Top tip: be nice to the bar staff there!
