This pub is now called the Temperance. I like this pub and its near my work so I visit it eveyr once in a while./ Decent selection of beers or lagers in my case. My only criticism is the service. It can sometimes take forever to get served, usually because noone is behind the bar or they are busy/distracted trying to sort out the food or something else. Food isnt bad either but service is slow and they forgot to serve a friend of mione one time. Sounds worse than what it is as its a decent place but just needs to be run better from a service point of view.

Currently closed. Only been in once or twice and it was pretty awful.

Very strange crowd. I went in there with a couple of girly mates, when this snake-like man kept touching my face and hair, leaving a trail of grease. One of his crazy-eyed friends kept giving me dodgy looks too.

Absolutely dreadful place. Crap bitter and crap, expensive food. Don't get me started on the punters. Avoid.

Good selection of beers, quite busy on a Friday night. Top pub!

This place is a diamond... Quirky atmosphere, excellent gastro menu that changes constantly, and yes some of the premium lagers are touching on the high side, but prices for mainstream beers are probably one of the lowest in the area.

Always a pleasant buzz around the place on the weekday evenings, and a relaxing place to take the other half for a decent lunch at the weekend, what more do you want?

4 a pint? You're having a laugh, perhaps circa 2010 but a bit expensive nowadays. Full of ponces.

Pleasant, relaxed feel on a Sunday afternoon/evening. Unobtrusive music, dimmed lighting; felt quite cosy in there when it was wet and cold outside. Worth a look.
