Called in recently for Sunday Lunch. The place was almost empty. The lady behind the bar was friendly but explained their lease was due to expire shortly. Meals were ordered and took a long time to be served, bearing in mind there so few patrons. The dining room felt cold (this was February)and there was paint splatters on the chairs. The food was unexceptional but edible.

Stayed at campsite and ate and drank in here. The food was excellent, service good and Adnams ale good - well worth a visit, esp for the food.

This pub is open! We stayed at a nearby camp site and visited the pub three times. The food was lovely, freshly cooked and very reasonable. We reckoned the chips were the best we'd ever had and the steaks were great. The beer was also excellent and the staff very friendly.

Went to the Dolphin for dinner last night. Food very good (best cooked steak I have ever had out!), service efficient, polite and friendly. Although we had to sit in part of the bar we were unaffected by smoke (restaurant booked up). Excellent value. We will certainly return.

Nice pub set back from the busy main road. On my visit they had 4 cask beers and Guinness, Stella, Scrumpy Jack (I know that's not a beer).

Although they are extremely popular for foodies, they still have a pool-table and drinkers' only area.
