Oh dear, its ME that's wrong! That review below is for the pub down the road called The White Hart, these are the perils of drinking whilst reviewing.... My review for this place is: Large U shaped pub with Sky sports on big tv's, all freshly done out with a large beer patio out the front which was well used for a Wednesday afternoon. Bath ales Gem or Doom Bar for ale, although Blackthorn looked to be the best selling drink in the pub.

Ignore the one below, I think they're on about the Kings Head in town! This one I went in yesterday, large pub With a pool table out the back but empty and the bar choice is thatchers gold, fosters or red stripe, all the other beer taps are just for show! Had a small stage with drum kit set up, reggae bands and dj's perform on the weekend. Very much rough round the edges as pubs go.

Lovely little National Inventory pub with an unusual feature called the Tram car or something (why don't I write these things down!) which screens off a few tables from the outer bar. We had Butcombe Gold which was very nice, but this was the "offer of the day" with 20p off - and still 3 a pint! Mmmmm......

"One of the best sunday lunches in Bristol"? "Really good Sunday lunch"? You're having a laugh! Miserly amount of meat (one slice), microwaved veg and a fairly tasteless gravy (Bisto?). I suggest Andy and Becky try the Sunday lunches at the White Lion (Frenchay), The Bell (Stapleton) or The Port of Call (Clifton).

On the upside, the staff and locals seemed friendly enough!
