Modern pub adjacent to the New Art Gallery and the canal wharf renovation. No place for a real ale drinker as nothing to drink. Bar staff and customers were very friendly however and the food looked good. Our feet stuck to the floor and the place looks like it needs a refurb along with the canal wharf.

What looks like a temporary buidling with tables and chairs from a school canteen. No proper ale and the pint of Staropramen wasn't cheap. Second closest pub to the station - closest when the Red Lion is closed as it was on Sunday night.

Built when the Walsall town wharf was all revamped in the 90s. The bland building, in and out, is saved by having a nice view of the canal basin. The service i had was friendly.

The pub is a haven for the young, not especially the chav kind, so i stuck out like a sore thumb, as i hadnt used Just for Men. Nobody bothered me and i didnt feel threatened

The beer was usual taps, with three Highgate kegs - MILD, bitter and lager at some cheap price. I cant comment on the beer as i had a coke and sat by the canal. It isnt aimed for people like me, i am sure the young would love it.

A really pretty bar in an awful town! daytime food is great! & night time on mondays is brilliant for students! soooo cheap! i haven't been on other nights in the week, does anyone know what they're like?

First visit for a while. Used to be totally out of keeping with the rest of the shitehole that was/is Walsall i.e. a quality place. Not so good nowadays but vastly superior still to everything else.

Further to my last comment. Went in last month and it seems to have picked up again. Regular live music and cheap food lunchtime. Less dickheads than the circuit pubs at the other end of town. Beer well kept and staff friendly.

Went to the wharf 10 bar last sunday and had an awesome night, was the second pub i came to when i got off the train. The place was busy but had a cool relaxing atmosphere as there were people porforming acoustically on a wonderfully lit stage, one of the best nights id had out in a long time, especially for a sunday. i will definatly be reurning next week!!! but i missed my train and spent a fortune on a taxi.

Was one of the places to be in Walsall when it opened in the mid 90s - had a great following and played some exceptional music. sadly it has gone downhill a bit. prices are high, the staff also seem to know that the party is over and can't really be arsed thinking up things to do with it. only saving grace is the Highgate it keeps behind the bar. never seems to be busy any more, probably because it is miles from the other watering holes and there is no reason to trapse up to the top of the town to go there. a sad decline for waht was once an awesome pub.

Adjacent to the award winning art gallery, this pub won architectural awards with its large sliding windows and look of a Swiss pine lodge when it was built about ten years ago, however, it now looks decidedly tired, a look not helped by the stacks of chairs inside.
Having said that, the food is good value, the beer uses the Highgate range to the full, and its very pleasant to sit outside by the cleaned up canal in the summer. Also, on the plus side is the fact that this pub is at the opposite end of town from the towns circuit pubs, so, although the evening crowd is a young one, it tends not to have to many dickheads in it. Regular live music events are held.
