Very welcoming locals pub. Wye Valley HPA is always on tap and very well kept. As we are now local we can walk there and enjoy a few!
Not tried the food yet but it looks very tasty and home cooked.
Quiz night once a month and also music evenings and an open mic night.
They do a hearty breakfast until about 11.45. Tried to get one just after 12 and they had stopped, sadly.
Well worth a visit if you are in Ledbury.

back today to meet american friends -glad we recommended it. They fed 30 of us and knew all the american cocktails - even had the shakers! Food great us brits sticking to the Westons again. Cider Ice on draught and still ciders it must be the best range in town from what we could see this week. the most spectacular rose we ever saw in the sunny garden.Love this place.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch yesterday and pleasantly surprised at how well the staff look after you. Wye valley bitter and Weston cider hit the spot too. Seemed quite busy while we were there.

The best pub in Ledbury for music and general entertainment. Can't comment on the beer, I don't drink the stuff. Very pleasant and often quite raucous by the standards.

Beer not the best, nice pub, kept well but the beer was a real let down

Called in as we were back in the area, and enjoyed a great well kept Wye Valley Dorothy Goodbody's Golden Ale, and also their Bitter. Found it to be friendly though quiet, and would call again.

Read in the new CAMRA rag that they have been awarded 'CaskMarque' accreditation, what a joke beer not bad temperature but tastes awfull would not feed the wifes cat this stuff, if you like real ale, dont go here not worth the upset, looking round most regulars drinking lager.
Come on cask marque help us out.

Better real ale in town by far try the Prince of Wales for a start.

Didn't have a lot of time to spend here as we dashed in for a quick half while waiting for a bus. Had a decent Wye Valley Dorothy Goodbodys Golden Ale. Friendly landlord and lovely pub dog. Very quiet when we were there.

The pub is now doing rgood food with a more varied menu than anywhere else in town and at a reasonable price for the town. In general the pub is still maintaining the high standards that the new landlord started with. The pissed 16 year old seems to have been a one off. Now worth visiting if in town. Also, a nice mix of music played.

Having given it a few weeks, I have to say that while the place is defintely better than when it was The Bull, the fact that I shared bar space with a VERY pissed 14-16 year old and her boyfriend at 6.30 on a Saturday night doesn't hold much hope for the future. IPA still of a good quality thoguh.
Although it would be easy to think she had 'not been noticed' by the staff, there where only 8 people in the pub and she staggered past the bar at least twice. Reverting vote to a 2

Formerly The Bull. This pub has been refurbished in a modern 'wine bar-ish' style. The staff are endevouring to get a better class of clientele by serving decent cask ale alongside the lagers and a good wine selection, lets hope they succeed.
A full menu is planned for the near future and children are allowed in the rear part of the pub. Early days yet, but on the welcome I got on a Sunday morning and the quality of the IPA, I'll give it a tentative 6/10

This pub was closed down and is now reincarnated as The Retreat

Ledbury's 'young peoples pub'. Has tried cask ales, but as most of the clientele are alcopop addicts, its never been good beer. About the only reason to visit this place is as the only pub in town with a large screen for watching football.
