Not a bad little boozer. We only really go a few times a year when there's quite a few of us because it's right at the other side of town.
Usually a pleasant experience.

You Cant Even Spell!!!! Pood? Wts Pood Dont You Mean Food And The Last 3 Comments Were Obviously From The Same Pathetic Person As The Times They Were Posted Are 1 Second After Each Other Haha! Also 'If I Want To Go To The Zoo I Would Of WENT To 1' WHAT? Your Grades In English Must Have Been Appauling. Oh And One Last Thing The Lion Didnt Even Sell Food In August So Next Time You Want To Slag A Pub Off Go And Slag One Of The 'Lovely Little Pubs Not Far From It' FREAK!

Food? if that is what you call food! when you go to a pood serving *fresh* food you expect something that has not just come out of the freezer and it would also be nice to have a clean plate!

This pub must be one of the worst around this area, the staff are usless and definatley not welcoming, the beer tastes like the pipes havnt been cleen for week and the place smells of old dog. if i wanted to visit a zoo i would of went to one. this place deserves 0 out of 10. Absolutley disgusting!

Living quite close to the pub you would think it would make a nice local...unfortunatley not! I find it too dingy, dismal and sadly a little unwelcoming to strangers! My opinion is this pub is for the older end of the market as apposed to the younger, although some youngsters do go in. Great pub for 'the lads' but not one for class!

Great friendly little pub, quiz night thursday, great for couples, pleasant surroundings, great beers, often with guest beers, well worht a visit with the wife.
