The landlord is leaving...... pity he was very good. Two weeks ago there was a serious problem with the drains and the whole place reeked of sewage....... I left very quickly; shame.

Jim and his boyfriend Mick along with his team have worked well to create a first class locals'pub that is also welcoming to visitors.

The beer is well kept, particularly the London Pride, and the food very good - if a little pricey. Greedy Fullers for you!

I am not a big fan of Fullers beer but normally there is a good guest beer on. This place does well because it's the only place within miles where you can drink decent beer and watch sport.
The downsides are: it is ridiculously expensive and some of the cliquey locals are the rudest, most arrogant people you could possibly hope to barge into you without apologising. It's their pub their doing you a favor allowing you in.

Fullers pub on the main drag through Binfield. This was the busiest of the 9 pubs we tried today, with all tables taken in the cosy interior and all also taken on the outdoor patio where a jazz band was performing and there was also a barbecue. The garden also featured a large proportion of dogs and children. ESB, London Pride, HSB & Discovery were the 4 ales on offer. A pleasant pub. But without the variety of ales stocked by the superior Jack o'Newbury down the road.

This pub has always been good with an excellent, well-kept range of Fullers ales. However, last Sunday we went there for Sunday lunch and although the beers and service were as good as always, the meal itself was very disappointing.

It was much smaller than the Sunday roasts we've been used to during previous visits (only 2 roast potatoes and a Yorkshire Pudding half the size of what they used to serve up!). All of our party commented on how the portions had got a lot smaller and for 8.95 each we felt that this represented pretty bad value for money.
Whilst we were eating we had Formula One racing coming from one side of the pub and Rugby commentary coming from the other. ( I'm afraid that this pub has not escaped the general obsession with TV everywhere nowadays).

All in all a very disappointing Sunday pub lunch - completely different to what we've been used to. Hopefully this was just an "off" day and we'll find out next visit more satisfying.

After consulting BITE for a lunchtime stop-off on a trip down the M4, the Victoria Arms fitted the bill. We weren't disappointed - good pint of London Pride and good sandwiches. Large beer garden, which was great for spending some time in the early spring sun. Overall, a high quality pub, but not necessarily one I would make a special trip to unless I happened to be in the area (although I recognise this is partly to do with the fact that, for me, Fullers pubs are a common occurrence in London).

A trip back today confirms the review below - excellent pub.

A cracking Fuller's pub which gets a lot plaudits and rightly so on the basis of my recent visit. Discovery, Pride ESB, HSB on the bar which were in good form with a friendly girl behind the bar too, which always helps. The place was busy on a Tuesday late afternoon, which says something! Make sure you visit the wonderful garden and patio area with good views which is a must in the summer. Other features include a TV with the sport on and food is available. Downside is perhaps that the beer is a bit expensive, though it usually is in Fuller's branded places - at least the quality here is spot-on. I'll be back sooner rather than later and would recommend it, alongside a trip up the road to the Jack o' Newbury.

I visited this pub at the weekend; its been a favourite for a long time. The beer was good but the food was truly awful. Dont know whats happened in the kitchen.

Friendly locals pub where visitors are made to feel welcome.

Excellent London Pride which benefits from high barrelage turnover as well as the professionalism of the manager and staff who clearly do care!

Food is good and, although a little on the pricey side, very popular.

Still in fine fettle, and with London Porter on, even better.

I would still rate this as the best pub in Binfield (although The Jack O Newbury is much improved) the condition of the beer would be hard to beat. The staff are polite and the place is always spotless.

As usual, excellent. Jim keeps a fine establishment, and both Discovery and Pride were spot on. Food very good too, and good value. Despite the kitchen being busy (a party of 40 were eating on the patio) the service was excellent.

The second best pub in Binfield, The Jack O Newbury is the best in my humble opinion and only walking distance from this place directly north.

Best pub in Binfield, great beer and a good mix of regulars.

Comedy double act has gone, many months ago. Michelle seems to be the only stability behind the bar. I love this pub and the ales are 1st class. Food is good quality, and there are specials on the blackboard. During the winter, there is a roaring log fire in one of the bars. Just the place to while away a pleasant evening with a pint of Fullers.

Alas, Nic has gone and Vic is unhappy. We need some nubile young women to come along and cheer him up. The beer is still fantastic and it's a shame the summer weather hasn't been great to make the most of the garden.

A good Fullers pub, nice garden friendly locals. Must admit that I have not experienced the comedy double act behind the bar ...

Quiet, family type pub with the biggest collection of beer bottles known to man. Vic and Nic the barmen are hilarious. Landlord is cool once you get to know him. Fine selection of real ales and lagers - which are all served in their own branded glasses which I find rare these days. Show all the major sporting events on weekends and week night evenings. Best of 5 pubs in this little village.
