Good effort at an Irish bar (they usually make an absolute balls of it). Worth a visit if that's your kind of thing.

Cracking pint of Guinness(2.70).Just round the corner from Hillhead underground. Some decent Irish tunes in the background...Well laid out pub with a few booths down one side.Liked the painted Guinness barrels outside.Good atmosphere

Despite the fact that it's tucked down an alley it is the busiest pub in the west end which is no mean feat given the quality of some of the others ( curlers, tennents et al ) getting a drink is a task of herculean proportions but worth the wait.

Have to agree with the other reviews - great pub but Saturday night was not the best time to be introduced to it. Managed to listen to most of the Best of the Pogues while I was waiting at the bar, but that was only cos of how busy it was, the bar staff were excellent, and far more polite than in any other pub I went into in Glasgow. I'd love to go back when it's quieter to really enjoy it

Catch it busy and it's very busy, catch it quiet and it's great. You have to try very hard to get a better pub. (Some real ales - even Irish ones - would help). The food comes from the Indian above which has the best Indian food I have ever seen/eaten i.e. real not creamy westernised indian.

Fantastic Pub, i hear its getting a few little snags sorted out, like the seats etc, still one of the best pubs in glasgow in my opinion. good craic, not one of the usual plastic irish pubs that seem to be evrywhere now

The best Irish bar in Glasgow by far. It's worst enemy is it's own popularity.

Best place to get Guinness in Glasgow. Good live music nights that make the place actually feel Irish. If you're going on March 17th get there early. VERY early.
