please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Currently closed down by the police because of more gang violence, so they're closed for "refurbishment " again while the council decide what to do with them. The place has becone a complete blight on an otherwise wonderful area, so If you want to get stabbed or shot after paying over the odds for a limp sandwicesh and a pint of flat lager then this is the place to be! However, if you want a good time with friends then there are many better places nearby.

This place is a trendy pub/club complete with bouncer and rope outside for queuing along. I bet they have a guest list!

Not for me Im afraid.

Never saw the place before the referb so cannot comment on that. Decent service - Pilsner Urquell on tap, comfy sofas etc. Pool tables downstairs. Fairly modern, yuppy feel to the place - but if that's what you're into you should like it.

They've just closed this palce for refurbishment looks like it'll be really poncy when it re-opens and will lose all of its soul.

disappointing.

This place is too cool. Actually the people are so cool they are frozen, really difficult to talk to anyone and/or get served unless you have a 500 haircut

Last time I was there a work colleague bought a lunchtime "salad sandwich combination" consisting of 2 slices of toast and a few slivers of lettuce. It came to 11 quid. Suffice to say he went back to Fleetwood bankrupt.

I'd love to take the cast iron spiral stairs inside and roger the pretentious geeks that work in and frequent this place - the 2 pool tables downstairs are ok though to get away from the Warhol crowd if you're in for a lunchtime sip

I went to this bar a couple of years ago and thought it was pretty cool but because it was a bit off the beat and track I never found the urge to return until this weekend(though to be fair they have been closing on weekend for a while). This is actually a great bar, went on saturday night for a quick drink as my girlfriend lives in the area. staff were friendly and the cocktails were, according to my girlfriend, really good (i'm more of a beer man myself). Returned again on Sunday as they have just started doing sunday Roasts again. Food was excellent plus they showed films on the screens in the bar, and of course you could chill out on the sofas with the sunday papers. A great place for a sunday I might well head down there next weekend too...

lovely chill out bar. food is freshly cooked and the leather sofas are hard to get out of after a couple of pints!

bar staff and clientele are laid back.

Great for Sunday chill-outs. Roast dinners and free pool on Sundays.
