Jeremy Kyle should do a special here. It's such a shame because this has good location and size.

Terrible place. I remember being getting a letter from the footy team I played for demanding I go there for a beer after the match. This was in order to be ignored by anyone apart from your own side and sup average lager. You're also a hike from the more happening joints of Sutton. I cannot think of a reason to visit this pub again.

Popped in their last night - early days for them I think. This pub is a bit unloved really, needs to get Sky back, sort out some food and some proper ale. It struggling by comparison with its neighbour The Prince Regent, which says it all really.

The Angel is back open as of 16/4/2007 - not been in their yet but I will be patronising it if only to stop it from becoming a block of flats.

we have been drinking in this pub for at least ten years. Yes it has had its ups and downs but that is mainly due to the people in charge. It is a great pub with proper people, family friendly with a good garden just needs a bit of tlc and a bit of dedication to give it what we deserve. BRING BACK THE ANGEL !!!

I've only ever been to this pub once and the Real Ales were quite good in my opinion.

I can't remember what they had but Adnams was certainly one of them, i'll visit there again before giving a rating.

This pub has improved immensely over the past few weeks under new mamagement it has been given a thorough clean through and is completely re-decorated throughout. Both the food and drink served here is of very good quality and reasonably priced. A nice friendly atmosphere now surrounds the place and good amenities are available eg live music, quiz nights, sky sports, pool and darts. It has a large garden and good size car park and really is worth a visit daytime or night.

having worked in this pub i know that the place has a friendly atmosphere and that the customers are very nice people. unfortunately the pub went through a bad patch when the previous owners lost interest. Now it is under new ownership the pub has been cleaned up and is doing very well. It is rare that there is trouble in this pub and it maintains a very good standard. The pub now has a competent cook and food is very good, they also have live music every sat nite, quiz nites on sundays. the staff are friendly and helpful. All in all this pub has turned around and i would reccommend it to anyone who enjoys a good nite out.

This pub needs to make much more of an effort. it is the nearest pub to my house, but I refuse to drink in there. It used to be good, but went quickly downhill with several changes of ownership. Let's hope that when it is bought by its new owners (currently still for sale) they are able to turn the pub round.
Beer not well looked after, regulars not well looked after unless they spend all their free time there. Kids allowed to run around the bar, stupid slide thing in the garden. Come on guys....
