CLOSED but not lamented.

Another bland cliquey manufactured "pub" definitely oriented to the young at weekend nights as a pre-clubbing venue. The DJ could do with more latitude otherwise he might as well stick the same CD on all night.
When the "Regional Bitter" is Tetley's on tap, obviously not a place for the ale drinker.

Also likely to suffer from the dregs of the fall-out of the "Ted The Grass" closure.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

One of the worst pubs I've ever been into. Indifferent or rude staff. Go to the weatherspoons nextdoor instead.

i've never been, seems like it attracts the 'wrong type' but I hope we'll venture in when it looks a bit SAFER

THIS PUB IS SET TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER AND NOT BEFORE TIME . NEW MANAGER IN THE SHAPE OF (SOZ DARREN NO PUN INTENDED)A FRESH YOUNGER LOOK ON THINGS INVOLED IN MAKING THIS A BETTER PLACE TO BE . MID WEEK KARAOKE AND FRESH DJ'S ON THE WEEKENDS SHOULD PICK UP THE PACE IN WHAT WAS A SLEEPY BAR BEFORE........

When it isn't completely dead, it's soulless as the few people there wander around the weird, cavenous design.

The beer and staff are great, though.

A modern pub which seems to attract a wide range of ages by day and young people by night. Food is ok, music is modern and gets louder at night and the drinks are cheap. Bitters, lagers, colourful drinks and regional bitters are available.

i think that if they had a bit more decent music it would be well good, and if they moved a few chairs and tables to the side, ppl ccould get up and boogie a bit.

This was a really busy pub and used to open late Fri and Sat now it's a bit like ghost town, saying that I usually visit every Thursday as it's near to home and the beer is cheap and they don't start putting the chairs on the tables at 9.30 like the nearby Hogs Head! Staff are always really friendly and it's a shame more people don't go there really. Maybe if they played some decent music it would help.
