SHAME IT CLOSED, I LIKED THIS PLACE, YOU COULD HAVE A COMFORTABLE PINT HERE

This pub is now closed and Acton is a poorer place following the closure of yet another backstreet pub. Where will it all end?

This is a pretty grim place and needs some decoration. I thought it a bit sparse, but on reading the previous reviews Ive come to realise that this must be a live music venue. It looks like someones tatty old living room with a bar, plasma screen and pool table plonked in it.

The barmaid was very nice, but there was only a generic selection of draught available.

There is a small selection of books on some shelves next to a sign for Foleys Book Club in which you can take any book away with you if you swap it for another, which I thought was a nice idea. Its also been a while since I saw a barmaid disappear down to the cellar via a hatch behind the bar, great stuff!

Im sure that this place serves its purpose very well, but I cant really see myself returning.

Not the worst of the Acton Pubs but a bit cheerless mostly aussies and they can be a trial so loud and not very intelligent.

Another great night at Foleys, the boys were there in there numbers and helped load the gear into the venue as well as this shella from brissy who helped load the gear out. Choice people at this pub. Looking 4ward to next year . . . . Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all.

Another bloody awesome night at '' Foleys '' this place seems to attract a nice cliental compared to the previously management, who did nothing to get this venue happening.
There seems to be a lot more nice ladies attending this pub, and thats great. Patronized by Kiwis and Aussies, which is a good thing as they have a good time without any hassle. Live music [ good music only ] need play here.Phillipa has got this pub up and running for the better. See you all at the next gig. Looking forward to it.

Gigged here on Saturday afternoon, and the gig was great for me, I think the all the punters enjoyed the sounds as well, as I received nice comments as I was loading out. Phillipa is great and said she would be doing more live music. See you all soon.

Grand straightforward type of pub and that's what I like. Crowd seems equal portion Irish, English, and Aussie. Good Guinness. Good for sport on the telly.

Lots to do to make it in to a winning pub, but a nice place overall with loads of potential! Watch this space!

Looks like an old Irish pub... a real old Irish pub, the type you'd find in a small, old Irish village. Filled with young people, mostly Aussies/ Kiwis/ Saffas, but then it is in Acton!
Seems to be a nice place with a very local vibe, decent jukebox and fair pricing. Could do something about the lighting though!

Reasonable if not exciting place if you want a pint of Guinness; makes itself out to be Irish but like most pubs in Acton mainly frequented by the Antipodeans!
