Granby, Manchesterback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Legendary late bar when there were no late bars in town. Used to go a lot for post 11pm drinks. Was always busy but always an interesting lively and generally decent place.
Was in there the night that St Etienne decided to do a dodgy christmas single with Tim Burgess out of the Charlatans.

The Granby was, and hopefully still is one of the best pubs in Manchester. The very best place to go for a late drink and chat, without having to pay extortionate club/bar prices else where. Add to that the groovy downstairs club and you have a top venue.
Good luck Granby, long may you continue, been a couple of years since I was last there so hope it's fairing well...

Ahh the Granby, stays open stupidly late and was the cause of many missed lectures during my university days. Only considered a shit whole by those who don't appreciate a quiet place to get a pint at 1 am.
