Food can take a while, but the portions are man sized and the welcome is friendly. Even though they do food you are still welcome if you go in just for a pint which is not true in all the food places I know.

Beer Ok! Food not too good, Service very slow. There are Better places to eat in the area. If it's just a drink you want then it is fine.

The food and Beer are fine, staff friendly but the food service can be very slow. Worth a visit off peak time. Good value for money.

A bloody miracle considering that it was a building site not that long ago! I'm not really one for restaurant typr pubs, so I'm probably a bit biased. Not a bad pint though, and the service was prompt and friendly. A bit too new for my liking, but well worth the visit. Although I didn't eat there, I have been told by friends that the food is pretty good and at a reasonable price.

There are very few pubs that have been completley rebuilt from the ground upwards. This one has.
From suffering from a devistating fire last year the site was cleared completley and rebuilt from scratch.
Would be very interested in peoples views on the pub and service given.

Has just been completley rebuilt since a dramatic fire last year.
Part of The Hungry Horse - Greene King chain.
Would be interested in opinions.
