Getting better and better with new manager since September. New music policy with interesting bands he's trying to turn it into an arts venue (without the pretentiousness that an arts venue might have) - a sort of arts pub if you like. Accoustics not great but good PA and excellent engineer. Food is going to change to Italian (pasta and stuff) - should be interesting, friendly staff, nice beer, interesting locals. And it's a music venue which is an increasingly rare thing in Stoke Newington.

Ho hum really... some very interesting bands, bad accoustics, kinda soulless interior. Vietnamese food on offer but I haven't been able to figure out when the kitchen's open. Friendly staff and the one of the very few music venues in Stokey. Worth it.

Really chilled, funky and weird bands play there, pool table (which is always a bonus), cheap(ish) drinks, but don't eat the food - it tastes like greasy plastic.

From the same owners of Ryans-N16 comes the eye. Formerly the point. Quite spacious and chilled out.

Great place. My band has played there twice now - speak to Warren (promoter) treated us like musicians. One of the good guys.

A pub featuring some very weird and wonderful bands.Great recent acts include The Dead Brothers, DM Bob and Nigel Burch and the Flea-Pit Orchestra but music finishes too early

A tabletop old-school computer and a nice chilled-out atmosphere. A bit quiet during the week but lively at the weekends. Some decent bands now and then.
