I was in here on Friday night and Saturday afternoon (see below).

John the governor was a great host and shed loads were raised for charity.

The pub itself has 3 large TV screens and a dart board at the rear and another 2 screens at the front with a second dart board.

There 3 tables out the front of the pub and another 4/5 tables around the side for the smokers and the sun worshipers.

Previous contributors are right about the TVs, as Im sure it is great for watching the sport, but not so good when darts is on one with VH1 classic and Eastenders on the others.

On the whole a great pub that I will be going back to.

The chairman of Middlesex County Dart Team will be doing a 24 hour dart-a-thon in Father Teds starting at 6pm on Friday 6th July. There will also be other pub related events going on throughout the night and day. 1.00 per game if you lose and 50p if you win with all of the proceeds going to Marie Curie cancer care.

It should be a good evening/night/morning/afternoon, so if anyone is interested just go along.

Ive been told it is a decent pub, but I will have to reserve judgement until after the event.

this is a nice friendly pub which you can have a late drink in.too many t.v screens bit off putting

Previous owners of The Black Lion have taken this place over and most of their regulars seem to have followed them.

Usually a darts match going on as they seem to have about 10 teams some of whom apparently play at semi-pro level. Service is good, the screens on every wall are a bit distracting,24 hour license(only pub in brent), good for a late drink

This is my local and a nice change from some of the toss on Kilburn High Road.

Jack behind the bar is a friendly chap. John is too. If you called either of them a "plastic paddy", they would be upset. Rightly so. This pub has two projection screens for sports and about three other tellies all showing sport sport and more sport. You've got yer Premiership on every weekend and last Sunday they were showing the Hurling live from Ireland too.

The Guinness is reliably good and very reasonably priced.

This is a proper pub, where it does have locals and genuine regulars and they laugh at you if you ask for coffee.

Child friendly, but only take your kids if you don't mind them passively smoking about 100 cigarettes an hour.

Hopefully the 'beerpolice' will stay away from my local and let me enjoy a pint in peace.

This pub is not the best around but can be a laugh if you go with the right people like any place. The drink is good and so is the music so i do not know what travis is on about it been to irish like this person has stated about many pubs all i can thonk is just that this person is very boring and very narrow minded.

An OK place, I've enjoyed myself a couple of times in here with a few mates, but I did live about 50 yards away for about four years. Has picked up since earlier this year, when the old boss from the nearby Black Lion moved in, and a late drink isn't a rarity. The juke box is also free, and there's a decent wide range of stuff to choose from, if you can get in before the staff fill it up with Irish dirges.

Can be dodgy on occasions - some of the poisonous stuff I've overheard from people in here can be a bit disturbing.

I vistited this pub last year and it was fantastic. The landlord was very welcoming and the whole atmosphere was relaxed. I had a fantastic afternoon there. I believe the landlord has moved which is a shame - but great pub!!
