a really cool underground venue, free from all the yobs & townies so prevalent in Bournemouth...check it out!

Not a bad little venue, if a little bit out the way. one of the few places in bournemouth where you can take in some live music.. but apart not much kop as a drinking establishment

brilliant music. i saw a band called Conway there and they were wicked. Nice surroundings and good vibe. Beer a little pricey

This place is an oasis, amidst the usual pretentious/meathead mentality venues in Bournemouth. A converted bank, still retaining its original marble interior, it has live music/dj's most nights of the week showcasing the best of local and out of town talent- everything from rock, goth, electronica to dance music, etc. Friendly mixed clientele, relaxed dress code, great bar staff and even the doormen are lovely! Check out particularly the regular Solid Air acoustic night on Mondays - free entry and around 6 acts to enjoy! Also Rubber Soul band night on Thursdays - 3 bands and only 3 quid to get in. The drinks are a little pricey, and the toilets could be improved, but the free or low-price entry, late bar and great entertainment more than makes up for it. I have spent many mashed evenings here - love it!
