Having reopened it's in a state of limbo. A lack of furnishings, pictures, etc. because I guess it's not worth the effort if it's likely to close again. But welcoming, friendly, and a nice pint of Courage Best.

The star has reopen and is a very friendly pub it is open for the next 2 years but anything can happen

Due to be redeveloped (i.e. knocked down).
Only pub in Hersham to have SHAM 69 on the juke box.

A down to earth pub and good atmosphere.

The atmoshere seemed very much a 'rough and ready' style, not my ladies type, so we never bought a drink. But the Thai food (which we had as a take-away)was really good!

Locals' bar, but a nice one. Apparently it looks like it (too) might soon be knocked down to build flats to visit while you can!
