Just been past the pub and what a sorry sight it makes who ever owns the building needs shooting, what people forget is that before it became a bloody harvester it was a very good locals pub, 2 bars (public & saloon) which catered for local needs some idiot in a office (prob. just out of school.) some where saw it had a good size carpark and was a good size building bang goes the pub in comes a crap restaurant.
To see it left to rot like this is a great shame i hope who ever has done this fails in what ever they put in its place.
Toss pots!!!!!!

Obviously closed forever now. Found the food here not too impressive anyway so was clearly going downhill

As a fellow local until three months ago I will not miss this place. Pleased that they've got permission to turn it into something decent.

Shame this place has now closed down. Not a fantastic place to eat but you knew what you were going to get each time. Will be missed by the locals.

Now closed down.(2 wks ago) Other pubs will close too if the Pub Co`s are not pulled up & cut the price`s they charge their tennants. This pub when it was "A PUB" was a great place, Brian the then landlord was old school but knew how to run the place,it is such a shame to see a Guildford landmark go.

Like every Harvester Ive seen over the years, its gone down-hill consistently each time Ive been. Would not go again. A lick of paint last year was not enough to save it. Please get permission to knock it down and turn it into something decent.

Its a harvester, so you should know what to expect. Has a good garden and atmos. More food than you can fit in your face at pretty cheap rate. Not really for drinking in. As harvesters go, its pretty good.

Food can be unclear at times. Appears that you can help yourself but also choices on the menu. Pretty slow service in truth. Needs a good dusting over

Very good guinness served here. Although the range isnt that great. More of a restaurant than a pub in many ways

Bit of a tourists' pub. Probably better for eating than drinking to be honest. The Guinness is good, but it is in most places!

This pleace serves cheap and cheerful food and dreadful beer. However the chippy down the road is cheaper and much better. If you can bear the locals, the Anchor & Horseshoes (further towards town along the London Rd) is a much better bet.

I've been there twice, the 1st time the waitress was very helpful and friendly, the second the staff wondered around aimlessly trying to take our order more than once. This hints at poor managers.

I have had some of the worst draught beer of my life here.

Now just food. Suggest you wander along to the Anchor and Horseshoes.
